pamper night basics
1.) DIY Oatmeal face Mask
A great and simple DIY to try for your Valentine’s pamper night that is extra luxurious and super affordable is a DIY oat face mask. Oatmeal masks have a lot of health and beauty benefits, like absorbing excess oil or aiding in moisture.
The best part about this DIY? It’s SUPER simple and inexpensive. All you need to pull this off is some oats, milk (of any kind), honey and maybe a dash of cinnamon. Here are some recipes to try!
2.) Luxury Bath
If you can, taking a bubble bath is an absolute MUST! If you want to level up your bath game for Valentine’s Day, try adding a bath bomb, some mineral epsom salt, and even some essential oils to make the experience truly pampering. I was gifted a box of soap rose petals a while ago and LOVE to add a few to my bath when I want to go the extra mile.
If you really want to make your bath experience indulgent, grab some inspiring magazines to flip through!
Below are some quality epsom salts, soap petals and bath bombs you might try.
3.) cocktail in a fancy glass
A pamper night would not be complete without a fancy drink of some kind! Whether you are into wine, cocktails or mocktails, the key is to sip said drink in a fancy glass. I personally love to go with some kombucha when I want something cold and tasty because it makes me feel very nourished.
4.) Watch a Y2K rom com
ANY romantic comedy from the early 2,000’s era is perfect for Valentine’s Day. Some of my personal favorites are Hitch, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, John Tucker Must Die, 17 Again, Legally Blonde, 13 Going on 30 and She’s the Man. But honestly, the list goes on!
5.) Indulge the sweet tooth
Pampering also means INDULGING in something you wouldn’t normally allow yourself to. Whether you want to do some baking or have some quality chocolate candies or chocolate- covered strawberries is up to you!
6.) Wear cute pajamas or loungewear
Pamper night is all about being both cute and cozy. So go with a pair of cute matching pajamas or luxurious loungewear and some fuzzy socks or maybe some cute underwear haha. Why does this part matter? Because what we wear has a DIRECT impact on our mood and attitude. Dressing yourself in quality, comfy clothes that make you feel happy and put together, even for lounging, shows you love and respect yourself. Besides, there are SO MANY adorable pairs of Valentine’s-themed pajamas out there just waiting to be donned.
7.) Read a romance novel
If you really want to go all out for the Valentine’s mood, I suggest reading a book that will give you ALL the romantic feels. If that isn’t normally your thing, here are some recommendations for romance books that will give you the warm fuzzies.
8.) ambience mood
Make your pamper night extra special with some sweet-smelling candles and fresh flowers around you. Dim the lights and put on some french cafe music in the background.
9.) do your nails
There is nothing that more quickly boosts the mood than a fresh manicure and pedicure! So, if you are so inclined, get a little creative with your manicure and try for some fun nail art or interesting stick-ons.
10.) decor
FINALLY, if you want your Valentine’s pamper night to feel extra special, shoot over to your local Dollar Tree or Target to stock up on some cute and affordable Valentine’s Day decor. I personally love balloons and some sort of floral decor as my preferred backdrop.
