Fall Afternoons in Bucks County

Fall Afternoons in Bucks County

Happy second week of blogtober!

I thought it would be fun to share some pictures from a peaceful afternoon drive to some local farm stands in my hometown of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Bucks County is absolutely known for its historic charm and stunning foliage in the fall. One of the best ways to enjoy the season is to drive around to glimpse the trees and stop at farms along the way.

But first, a pumpkin drink! I decided to try a pumpkin spice smoothie from Greenstraw smoothie shop in Newtown……and there are no words to describe how heavenly it tasted. It pretty much tasted like pumpkin pie in a cool, liquid form and now I am inspired to try replicating the recipe at home. From there it is a scenic drive through farmlands and pastures of Upper Makefield, Bucks County and we found a cute little farm market called Milk House. It was such a charming, serene and unostentatious farm tucked away amidst the country backroads.

Keeping stride with Bucks County fall happenings, below are some more photos taken from the other day at Solly Brother’s Farm in the Warminster area. Visiting Solly Brother’s for apple or pumpkin picking is a family tradition, and the farm market shop had the most delicious apple pies ever!

I also had to share a picture of my fall nails, because they are works of art and worthy of documentation!

If you ever visit Bucks County in the fall, you certainly have your pick of scenic farms and activities! I definitely plan to share more Bucks County foliage in my blogtober posts to come, so stay tuned!
