Spring Inspiration: Art & Stationary
Hello, happy spring!
I hope you are doing well, wherever you are, and finding some joy and inspiration in whatever avenues you prefer. For me, a new season means new inspiration. And I love the challenge to create something that has a seasonal flair. I’ve said it before on this blog, but one of my dreams would be to have my own stationary business of some sort. I have always loved the tradition of snail mail and am a sucker for a pretty card. So…..I love to create new cards, however basic, that give that same spark of beauty, thoughtfulness and escape to people in my life.
The above assortment are some different cards I have painted over the past few months that make me think of springtime. Whether it’s a classic pink drink, some spring teacups or something more personal (like a baby shower) I have enjoyed the challenge to create!
I definitely have some more ideas up my sleeve, but for now I’ll leave you with one of my favorite quotes:
“The purpose of art is the gradual, lifelong construction of a state of wonder and serenity.”—Glenn Gould
Happy painting!
