I realize we have been in wedding season for a few months now, but summer and early fall are still prime seasons for couples to tie the knot! This particular post is for those of you who are looking to get your good friend or bestie something SO special and thoughtful for her bridal shower. I will include some couple gifts as well as personal gifts just for her that will just pierce right to the heart!

This post is near and dear to my heart as one of my besties is getting MARRIED in a few months and I have been on the hunt for the best shower gifts. I want to include a variety of ideas that range in budget as well as from practical to sentimental to just for fun. So, in no particular order, let’s get to the fun ideas!

1.) bathroom towells

Hand towels or wash towels with any sort of personalization or general wedding theme are a great gift because, who doesn’t need more towels? Etsy has so many lovely options that you could get personalized with the last name or just go with a Mr. and Mrs. option and it is just as cute.

2.) jewelry dish or box

A cute little ring box or jewelry dish with a wedding theme is a perfect bridal shower token for your friend. This is a great gift to give because jewelry dishes or trays are practical to keep in bedrooms, bathrooms and even kitchens so you don’t have to worry about possibly repeating a gift. Etsy has many great options and I linked a few from Amazon below.

3.) Decorative coffee table tray

Custom cutting boards or coffee table trays make lovely gifts for your bride-to-be friend to add to their romantic home! This is always a great object to get as a gift because it can be a constant visual reminder of their special day. Definitely explore Etsy for many options (including customized) and check out some of the Amazon links below.

4.) monogram or custom coffee mug

You have probably seen coffee mugs with “Mr.” or “Mrs.” at just about every boutique and Marshall’s store, right? Well, these are a classic! People can ALWAYS use another mug and why not give your bestie with a cute and especially bridal themed one she can sip from as she counts down to the big day? You have SO many great options for finding a cute bride-themed mug: Target, Amazon (linked below), Etsy and my Unpolished Ponderings shop has a few new ones! 5.) Mr. and Mrs. wine glasses

A perfect piggy-back off the last idea are wine glasses! You can find so many lovely wine glasses from Etsy that make for a lovely and special gift to your engaged friend.

6.) wedding-themed Drink tumblr

I know, these three ideas are all quite similar, but portable drink tumblrs are SUCH a fabulous gift idea. Your bride-to-be friend can use it to take coffee, wine or iced cold water to go as she hustles about planning her wedding. Also check out my shop for a few bride-themed wine tumblrs!

6.) Cute cookbook

I truly believe you can never go wrong with gifting someone a lovely, aesthetically pleasing cookbook. Some great suggestions are The Newlywed Table, The Official Disney Parks Cookbook or a personalized recipe book option where you and friends of the bride-to-be can write in your favorite recipes.

7.) Coffee table bridal book

Lovely bridal books are a special gift for your bride-to-be friend because they are not only stunning to look at and display, but are also full of exciting ideas for their big day. Even if she already has her plans and decor made, flipping through these books will get her super excited and make that engagement period more special.

8.) BRide-themed Candle

You can always gift your bride-to-be friend with a lovely candle in addition to anything else you may give. Again, this is a special time in her life and she can enjoy this candle while she looks forward to her special day. 9.) Wedding pillow or throw blanket

I love the idea of gifting a bride-themed pillow or throw blanket. Not only can your friend enjoy the pillow from her shower-on, but she can use add it to her bed for years to come and remember her sweet marriage! 10.) best memory scrapbook

If you really want to gift your bestie something special, I suggest doing a memory book of some kind! You can do this the old-school way of cutting and pasting photos and magazine clippings into a journal and handwriting the memories, or you could make one online at Shutterfly, Printful or using Canva.

11.) Framed photo of you two

Keeping with the nostalgic theme, there are few things more precious than a framed photograph from a sweet memory. You could find a lovely frame (Kate Spade has some great ones) and get one of your favorite pictures with the bride-to-be printed professionally to be framed.

12.) custom bag

I LOVE the idea of gifting your bestie a custom bag of some kind. Whether you want to gift her with a custom tote bag or make her a custom handbag or purse, this could be a really lovely gift. If you want a gift idea that is extra luxurious and GUARANTEED to score with your friend, I suggest you head over to Etsy and select one of their absolutely lovely bridal gift baskets. Each basket is stunningly put together with a nice assortment of products that will pamper and spoil the bride-to-be during this special season.

14.) Engraved jewelry

I love the idea of gifting the bride-to-be a piece of customized jewelry for her wedding shower. This is a great gift for a super close friend or family member who you know super well and feel familiar with her taste. Pandora offers engraving on charms, and many other Etsy offers many stunning pieces that make lovely gifts. Sometimes you can get the wedding date engraved, or maybe her future last name. If you are unable to get something customized, anything bridal-themed would be special.

15.) Cute lingerie

What better occasion to gift some adorable lingerie or pajamas than a bridal shower??? As long as you know her size or measurements you can take a stab at selecting something that might be her style. You cannot go wrong with anything white, laced or silky. There is always the option of luxe silk or linen pajamas or a kimono robe with a bridal note to them! Victoria’s Secret and even Etsy have great options. I also recommend a boutique called Lace Silhouettes that carries extremely luxurious and high-quality lingerie and pajamas.

16.) Special Wedding Journal or Planner

A custom journal or notebook or wedding planner is such a special bridal shower gift because it will encourage journaling and soaking in the moments of that special season of life. Who doesn’t love a pair of luxe, fluffy slippers? Your friend will absolutely thank you when she can slip these on as she gets her makeup and hair done all morning before donning the wedding heels.
