October Simple Joys

I absolutely LOVE October! So I wanted to share a roundup of some highlights and special, simple moments from this magical month! Of course pictures never do the real moment justice, but I love being able to look back at them and jump back into that moment. So here goes!

Fall Foliage

This is just a small snapshot of the enchanting foliage around me, but it’s so perfect! No need for more words because the pictures speak for themselves.

Hygge Moments

Anyone who knows me knows that I have a small obsession with flowers….I have no idea where it came from, but for some reason it continues to grow. Maybe it’s because I’m getting older? Who knows. Either way, I love painting them, smelling them, and think they complete any room or ensemble. I couldn’t resist sharing some fall floral snapshots. In addition to flowers, I also wanted to share some more classic, October-approved “hygge” moments. This naturally includes hot chocolate. And yes, I have a special, festive recipe for that. Perhaps I’ll share more on that in another post…

Friends & Family

This month, while still difficult on my health, actually lent itself to a few more good days where I got to get out for a little! The moderate weather is a help, and the fresh air does wonders. It was so wonderful having my “godparents” come visit and getting to show them around Bucks County during the best season there is!
