Summer Inspiration: Art and Stationary Favorites

Happy mid-August! As promised, I wanted to continue with my chain of “summer inspiration” posts and share some areas that have been inspiring me this summer. For those out there who are like me and can spend hours scrolling through Pinterest for colorful and beautiful photos, maybe this post will give you a little jolt of creative energy!

I confess most of these pieces were actually painted earlier in 2020. My Lyme symptoms have grown increasingly debilitating throughout the summer and it’s been extremely difficult to be consistent with my creative hobbies (a story for another time). Still, I managed to crank a few bright and summery pieces because the reward of creating art is so energizing to my morale. And in the meantime, Pinterest continues to provide me with endless ideas for new pieces that I cannot wait to explore.
